A lip flip is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses small injections of Botox (or a similar botulinum toxin product) into the muscles just above the upper lip. The goal is not to add volume to the lips. Instead, the injections relax the muscles that pull the upper lip inward, causing the lip to gently roll outward (“flip”) and making more of the upper lip visible when the face is at rest or when smiling.
